Scope
This policy covers the FundSeek iOS app only.
It does not cover a future waitlist page. That page will collect email through an email service (to be chosen) and needs its own privacy section before it goes live.
FundSeek is not affiliated with the VA or any government agency.
What FundSeek is
FundSeek helps disabled adults, families, caregivers and veterans browse funding programs and resources. The eight fund types in the app today are: Additional resources, Grants, Loans, Initiatives, Scholarships, Discounts, Tax credits and Waivers. This policy describes what the App Store build does with information today.
What we collect
In this version of the app, FundSeek does not collect personal data.
- Stays on this phone. Never shared.
- Answers you choose (state, address or ZIP, miles, age band, veteran status, disabilities, interests, and what you need) are saved only on this phone in the phone's secure storage so you don't retype them. You can edit them on Profile.
- They stay until you change them or tap Delete my info. Text-size preference follows your iPhone.
- Nothing is sent to FundSeek or anyone else. There are no network calls from the app for answers, analytics, accounts or ads. FundSeek does not use GPS or ask for location permission; nearby filters use the ZIP you enter.
- You can edit or remove any answer on the Profile screen.
- There are no accounts in the store build. No account needed.
Because we do not collect personal data in this build, we do not sell your data. There is nothing to sell.
Consent and choice
- On the consent screen you can choose I agree or Not now, just browse.
- You can Skip every About-you question.
- Text follows your iPhone's text size.
- Is my info sent anywhere? No. It stays on this phone and is never sent to FundSeek.
- How do I delete my info? Open About and tap Delete my info. That wipes everything saved for FundSeek on this phone and cancels local reminders.
Funding programs and resources
You can open any of the eight fund-type tiles to browse programs and see who each program helps, what it covers and its official link.
Outside links: If you open a link to an outside site, it opens in your browser. Those sites have their own privacy policies. FundSeek does not send them your answers.
We do not name crowdfunding platforms in this policy.
Referral codes and affiliate links
Some Discounts links or codes may earn FundSeek a commission. It never changes your price or what we show you. The link or code is the same for everyone and never includes your answers. The store's site has its own privacy rules.
Children
FundSeek is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
